Our Coaching Philosophy

Our coaching staff has been intentionally assembled to protect our strong team culture while developing athletes in an environment that challenges them to reach — and exceed — the limits of their abilities. Together, our four coaches bring a combined 94 years of coaching experience (and counting!) across multiple levels of baseball and softball.

Our staff is entirely volunteer-based and has no family members on the roster, ensuring that every athlete is coached with fairness, objectivity, and accountability. Each coach brings unique professional experiences, personalities, and strengths, creating a well-rounded environment where athletes benefit from multiple teaching styles and perspectives. Our staff, including our team-specific Recruiting Coordinator, is committed to helping student-athletes pursue opportunities to compete at the collegiate level.

Above all, our coaches view this team as an opportunity to serve their community while helping develop the next generation of female student-athletes and leaders.

Coach Troy brings decades of leadership and service to the program. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, accountability, leadership development, team-first approaches, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. Ultimately, his goal is to make a positive impact on his athletes that the can carry forward in softball and in life.
