Rules
The Dirt & Diamonds Showdown will follow USSSA rules for all divisions. Sportsmanship, respect, and fair play are expected at all times from coaches, players, and fans.
Batting & Substitutions
All entry fees are 100% refundable if weather conditions prevent games from being played.
Batting & Substitutions
- Teams may choose to bat their entire lineup or use a traditional batting order.
- Free defensive substitutions are allowed throughout the tournament.
- 75-minute games – finish the inning.
- 10 runs after 3 innings
- 8 runs after 4 innings
- 6 runs after 5 innings
- No protests will be accepted — umpire decisions are final.

Champions & Runners Up
Division winners and runners-up will be determined based on overall record, runs allowed, and runs scored. In the event of a tie, standard USSSA tiebreakers will be used in the following order:
- Win–Loss Record
- Head-to-Head (if applicable)
- Runs Allowed
- Runs Scored
- Run Differential
- Coin Toss (if necessary)
